“I simply couldn’t afford it.” Navy veteran and local Texas A&M student Tyler Eutsler ditched his car and chose to bike throughout College Station and Bryan, Texas for over two years. In the full interview on the Think Brazos Podcast, he shares his experience of commuting in Aggieland via bicycle, local biking infrastructure, and how safety plays a significant role in planning routes. As he is about to graduate, he also discusses his upcoming plans of pursuing a Master's degree potentially in urban planning or public affairs and shares his enthusiasm for continuing higher studies.

This segment is part of a longer interview where we featured Tyler Eutsler for Veterans Day. Tyler enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 17 and served six years as an electronics technician and career counselor. While underway, he discovered a passion for urban planning as a way to help more people. Check out his full interview on our YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/LzSJ1aa00bE
