Ben Bius is a Huntsville native and is running for Texas House of Representatives District 12. In our interview with Bius, we discuss his background, reasons for running, and his stances on various issues such as public education, school choice, the impact of people moving to Texas, and protecting farmland. The conversation also touches on the importance of family, prayer, and serving the community. Bius faces Trey Wharton and John Harvey Slocum in the Republican primary on Super Tuesday March 5, 2024. Texas House District 12 is currently represented by Kyle Kacal, who is not seeking re-election.
