Trey Wharton is a Huntsville native and is running for Texas House of Representatives District 12. He faces Ben Bius and John Harvey Slocum in the Republican primary on Super Tuesday March 5, 2024. Texas House District 12 is currently represented by Kyle Kacal, who is not seeking re-election.
