Fred Medina is a candidate for Texas House of Representatives District 14. He is a lawyer in Bryan, Texas and describes himself as a “union guy.” In the interview, we discuss his background, his reasons for running for office, and his stance on various issues such as affordable housing and public education. District 14 is currently represented by John Raney, who is not seeking re-election. Medina is unopposed on the Democratic ballot. He is expected to face the winner of the Republican primary in the election on November 5, 2024.
